Product Overview
• Use just like a larger surber • For student field work or shallow streams less than 6” A surber is a type of net used to sample for specific macrobenthos in flowing water such as streams or rivers. Here’s a brand-new scaled-down surber that doesn’t scale down quality. Featuring the same stainless steel frame, 500 micron Nitex® bolt cloth net, and taffeta wings of our larger surbers, this sampler has a net 11” long and a sampling area of 1/4 square foot.
