T.V. HORIZONTAL OSCILLATOR SUBSYSTEM TRAINING BOARD
Objective: This trainer consists of sync separator, line frequency oscillator phase comparator with synchronizing arrangements and amplifier for amplifying sweep signals produced by the oscillator. You will connect the video signals input, fly-back pulse input from the horizontal output stage and EHT generator training board. You will observe that the horizontal drive (15,625) obtained from this section is given to the EHT voltage Generator board. TV VERTICAL SWEEP OSCILLATOR SUBSYSTEM TRAINING BOARD
Objectives : This trainer performs two main functions. a) Firstly - it produces oscillations at the vertical sweep rate (50Hz). The phase and frequency of these oscillations is controlled by the vertical sync signals obtained from the sync separator. b) Secondly-it amplifies these oscillations and provides sufficient current of saw tooth waveform to the vertical deflection coil. Flyback pulses are also obtained from this section for suppressing the vertical retrace lines on the picture tube See Enlarge

50cms PICTURE TUBE TRAINING BOARD
Objective: You will connect the vertical & horizontal deflection coil to the neck of the picture positions by changing it. You will connect the valve base to the respective point of P.T.EHT (16KV) cable is also connected to the final anode of picture tube, The above three points are taken from the TV horizontal output and EHT generator board.
