Young's type, made of Borosilicate glass. Column comprises precision
bore tubing with accurately fitted pear shaped bulbs. The close fit of the
bulbs, each of which is a separate unit, form a liquid seal between the
bulbs and the wall of the column, which increases the efficiency of the
unit. The ascending vapour causes the bubbles, which are themselves
surrounded by liquid, to oscillate, thus effecting the intimate mixing of
liquid and vapour. Suitable for high boiling point liquids. With side arm.

Made of Borosilicate glass. Consisting of jointed glassware in one single
unit to form distillation apparatus - flask round bottom with B-24 socket,
still head with B-24 and B-19 cone, condenser with B-19 socket and cone
and receiver adapter with B-19 socket. The carefully designed apparatus
has pre-defined angles so that its assembly will require fewer clamps
making it more secure to assemble, thus making distillation experiments
easy to set up.

VAPOUR DENSITY APPARATUS, VICTOR MEYER'S (LSE)

For the vapour density determination of volatile liquids by measuring the
volume of air displayed by a known mass of the substance when
vaporized. Comprises 100mL bulb with a long vaporizing tube fitted with
a side delivery tube incorporating a safety rod, designed to support a
vapour density bottle and contents before introducing into the tube, by
rotating the rod. An outlet jacket surrounds the vaporizing tube. Supplied
